Malmaison is set to open its brand new boutique hotel, Malmaison Manchester Deansgate in Late Summer/Late September 2023, offering views out over historic Albert Square and Manchester’s buzzing main thoroughfare.
Boutique interiors will blend a fusion of themes taking inspiration from Manchester’s bold and gritty history with nods to music, art, fashion, science, and nature seamlessly woven together by Malmaison’s iconic flair, creating a hotel that is as bold and diverse as the city of Manchester itself.
Guests can sleep in one of 70 rooms and suites that pay homage to the retro designs of the 60s and 70s, referencing the iconic G Plan furniture of this era and complimenting the building’s brutal façade with bold patterns, powerful colours, strong materiality, and striking artwork in the form of nature-based motifs and murals.
Guests can dine at the signature Malmaison Bar & Grill or head upstairs to the Sora Rooftop Restaurant & Bar – only the second Sora location in the UK – serving guests mix and match small plates of sushi, Robatayaki and Pan-Asian style tapas dishes with signature cocktails, and offering panoramas overlooking Albert Square and the historic architecture of Manchester Town Hall.
